Senator Ahmad Lawan, who represents Yobe North senatorial district in Nigerian senate, has congratulated a Nigerian teenage student, who has emerged winner of a global English language competition.
In a statement on Tuesday, August 5, Lawan extended what he called his heartfelt congratulations to Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, a brilliant sixteen-year-old girl from Yobe State, for her extraordinary triumph at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, United Kingdom.
According to the former senate president, Nafisah’s victory as the world’s best in English language skills is an inspiration that illuminates the potential of young minds in Nigeria and beyond.
His words: “To have outshone over 20,000 talented students from 69 countries, including those from native English-speaking nations, speaks to your intellectual prowess and the power of perseverance.
