The minister of Niger Delta Development (MNDD), Abubakar Momoh, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Eight-Point Agenda” would impact positively on the nation’s socio-economic landscape, creating wealth and reducing social deprivation, while ensuring sustainable development in Nigeria.

Momoh made the pronouncement when he hosted executive members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), led by its President, Tasiu Sa’ad Wudil (FNSE), who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja recently.

According to the minister, the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Tinubu is aimed at creating a better life for families. The initiatives under the agenda, he said, cover agriculture, education, economic empowerment, health and social investment, with special focus on women and youth, who are the bedrock o society.”

Earlier, the NSE President said he was in the ministry to congratulate and celebrate with the Momoh on his appointment as minister of the Federal Republic, and to reassure his confidence in patronizing Nigerian Engineers to enable them contribute their quota in the socio-economic development of the country.
