The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC) has conducted promotion examination for eligible staff from across the country, beginning from people with grade level four to 14.
The promotion examination took place earlier in the month at the corporate headquarters of the commission in Abuja.
In his remarks, the executive secretary of the commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam, charged the staff on the need for collective efforts to build a strong and efficient workforce .
He urged them to always think of the future of the commission, adding that their desires and dreams in life would be met if they remain focused and purpose-driven. Pam also admonished them not to despise the days of little beginning.
According to him, “the days of little beginning, no one should take it for granted. If you are faithful in a little, God can enlarge it”.
The NCPC boss further posited that greater things are hidden in small things, and that the promotion examination of this type was a test of loyalty and commitment to the commission and the society at large.
He reiterated that the commission’s management would continue to ensure that motivation of staff remains non- negotiable.
”It will be a thing of joy to see all of you promoted,” he added.
The clergyman further advised them to shun examination fever and relax, because he was optimistic that they would all do well.
The promotion examinations involved all eligible staff at the headquarters, as well as staff from the commission’s six zonal offices.
