The Unites States Mission in Nigeria has announced the arrival of David Greene, who has taken over at the US Embassy in Abuja as the new deputy chief of mission.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the US Mission in Nigeria wrote: “We are super excited to introduce our new Deputy Chief of Mission, David Greene, who has arrived in Abuja and assumed duties in the Embassy.
“David looks forward to meeting many of you while he explores this diverse and amazing country. His official bio shows the wide range of diplomatic experience he brings.
“He also loves to travel, try new cuisine, and watch the New York Yankees.”
The statement further appealed to Nigerians to “Please help us welcome David the warm Nigerian way.”
