The university senate of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, has approved the extension of the resumption date for all students of the university.

A statement signed by Francis Agbor, who is the university’s public relations officer, said the decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the university senate held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 to consider arrangements for the commencement of the new academic session.

‎It further explained that in a memo signed by the university registrar, Amb. Gabriel Egbe, UEE announced that the new resumption date for all students is Friday, November 27, 2026.

‎According to the registrar, the extension was necessitated by the need to enable the university to host the NYSC batch ‘C’ orientation course within the university environment.

‎The registrar further advised fresh students to take advantage of the extended period to complete the processes of their admissions online and pay the prescribed acceptance fees and other relevant charges.

‎Meanwhile, the university’s committee of deans is currently working on the revised academic calendar for the session. The new academic calendar, they said, will be published as soon as it is finalised and approved, and that all students are therefore advised to take note of the revised arrangements and adhere strictly to the new academic calendar once published.

‎The university registrar enjoined students to regularly check the UEE’s official communication channels for further information and updates.
