The United States Mission in Nigeria is concerned with diplomatic activities, including negotiations and other civic engagements at various levels of government to government and people to people dealings.
However, according to an October 7 note seen by The Africanscholar, the United States Mission in Nigeria undertakes other activities, such as trade facilitation and investment promotion between the two nations.
“Dplomacy is not all serious negotiations! We also facilitate US companies investing in Nigeria, which creates local jobs and brings great products like Krispy Kreme donuts,” the note from the US Mission read in part .
“We visited their newest shop, in Abuja. Delicious! Taste for yourself, whether in Abuja or in Lagos,.” it further read.
