The honourable minister of water resources, Engr. Suleiman H. Adamu, will today be elevated from his erstwhile traditional title, Danburam Kazaure to the higher position of Galadiman Kazaure, a senior district head of Roni in the Kazaure Emirate.
This is according to a statement sent to The Africanscholar by Kenechukwu Offie, who is the
director of information in the federal ministry of water resources.
The turbaning ceremony will be performed by His Highness, Emir of Kazaure, Najib Hussaini Adamu, at the Emir’s Palace, Kazaure, Jigawa State by 11 am.
Engr. Adamu is a Prince of Kazaure Emirate, and after his “sojourn” in the public service as federal minister, he will take full charge of his exalted traditional responsibility as the district head of Roni.
Among his duties as district head is to ensure that the security and general welfare of the people of Roni is maintained at all times, and to also carry out other responsibilities that may be assigned to him by the Emir of Kazaure.
