Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has approved the appointment of Mubarak Shehu Ladan as the new director general of Kaduna State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (KADRUWASSA).
With the new appointment, Ladan has now replaced Eng. Ahmed Munir, who was recently elected to represent Lere Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives.
Dateline Nigeria reported that Mubarak Shehu Ladan, before his appointment, served as Technical Assistant to the minister of water resources Engr. Suleiman H. Adamu.
Ladan holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, as well as a master’s degree in oil and gas management from the same institution.
Similarly, Governor El-Rufai has approved the appointment of Musa Mohammed as deputy managing director of Kaduna State Power Supply Company (KAPSCO).
KAPSCO is the official body charged with increasing access to electricity in Kaduna through alternative power supply to off-grid communities.
The Secretary to the Kaduna State Government, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, who conveyed the appointments, said they take effect from September 7, 2021.
The SSG also urged the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties.
